As a businessman, Marc Morris founded The Talmadge Group in 1998, to meet the technical staffing needs of Fortune 1000 clients. In 2004, he spearheaded Talmadge’s transformation from a staffing firm to a full-service Information Technology Integration and Support Services provider with a specific focus on provide web-based supply chain solutions to commercial and federal clients. Since 2014, The Talmadge Group has been named to the INC 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies. Talmadge was also named as the “2017 Best of Forsyth” Personnel Placement Firm.
Following the 9/11 attacks on America, Marc discovered an opportunity to serve in the Georgia State Defense Force (GSDF) as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Recruiting & Retention. After several other assignments and promotions, he eventually retired as a Master Sergeant (E-8) in 2017. Although he is not a Vietnam Era Veteran, Marc is a passionate advocate for Vietnam Veterans and the issues they face.
Active in our community, Marc is an active member of the Lanier-Forsyth Rotary Club and Cumming Forsyth Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers for numerous events and fundraisers which benefit youth within our community. Marc is also an active member of VETLANTA, a collaboration among Atlanta area businesses to support veteran-orientated employment initiatives. During Christmas, you’ll find him collecting and processing toys for Clark Howard’s “Clark’s Kids Christmas” and welcoming troops with the USO at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

Marc and his wife, Donna, have resided in Cumming (Princeton Square subdivision) since 2004 and have one daughter, Natalie. They are active members of Lanier Methodist Church.
